The Passiv Line Ultra system has been designed as a solution that meets the requirements of passive construction, where every element of the structure affects the building’s energy balance. The technologies used significantly reduce the demand for heating energy and improve indoor comfort.

In the profile construction, traditional steel reinforcements have been replaced with inserts made of Ultradur High Speed material reinforced with glass fibre, developed by BASF. This solution allows for a very low level of heat transfer and provides the stability required in passive systems, while eliminating conventional thermal bridges within the profile.

As standard, the window is equipped with a triple-glazed unit with a Ug value of 0.5 W/m²K. The use of glass with an ECLAZ coating increases daylight and solar energy transmission, supporting natural interior lighting and improving the building’s energy balance.

An important component of the system is the SWISSPACER ULTIMATE warm edge spacer, which reduces heat loss at the junction between the glass and the frame and minimises thermal bridges. This solution is essential for meeting the requirements of passive construction.

The very high airtightness of the structure helps limit uncontrolled air exchange when the window is closed. The airtightness coefficient Q100 = 0.06 m³/(h·m) confirms the parameters required for certified passive windows.

The system also offers very good acoustic insulation thanks to the use of triple-glazed units and laminated glass, effectively reducing external noise penetration and increasing indoor comfort.
